With large project announcements in 2020 and 2021 and construction slated to begin onsite for multiple projects in 2022, Wyoming’s Integrated Test Center has surpassed $100 million in research and development funding to tenants to advance carbon capture and carbon utilization research here in Wyoming.

“The goal of the ITC was always to help scale up CCUS technologies to commercialization,” said Jason Begger, Managing Director of the ITC. “We have had tenants successfully complete testing at different scales and have more lined up to test onsite over the next 18 months. This level of investment and testing shows the continued importance and dedication to finding solutions to post-combustion CO2 emissions.”

The ITC allows for tenants to research technologies from the bench scale up to the demonstration scale.
